Snowy day at 11k

They had a day to rest at Camp 2 while they watched the snow fall. It wasn't terrible weather today, but the snow and clouds were in and out all morning, so they took a day off. It's not a bad thing to get an extra day to acclimate and rest before moving up to the next camp. They had plenty of time to read and eat today, and I'm sure they'll be excited to get moving up again on Monday.

  1. Doug, glad to hhear you are all taking it one day at a time and doing very well. Don't forget the Kodak moments when possible. Here is a little of what is going on in our world. The Lakers were leading the series (3-1) two days ago when we all thought the Magic would come back and tie the series, but tonight the Lakers reclaimed the crown in a victory (99-86) over Orlando Magic! There is a link on YouTube of Kobe Bryant closing the deal and finally emerging from the shadow of his former teammate, The Shaq!

Hope you all have a great climb and clearer weather tomorrow!

    Cheers!

  5. Hello Bengt!

Good to hear you're still doing well and that everything seems to progress according to the plan. We hope you had some time to read your book and think about us! Mats and Petter is still doing fine, and last night Petter slept from 7pm to 9am with only one meal - he is really kind to his parents!
Good luck, our fingers are still crossed. Give our regards to Maria and Yury.
