Carrying Loads

Today (Wednesday) was a bit snowy up on the mountain, with almost a foot of new snow falling at the 14,200 ft camp. The team carried some loads up to the fixed lines, and will take a rest day tomorrow to acclimate and prepare for the final move up to high camp.

  2. Hmm..that fresh snow sounds like it may slow you down a bit but hopefully not too much. Doug, you guys rock!! You have done very well thus far and gone a long way. We have a friendly office pool going right now (no money, just a score board), on whether or not you all make it to the Summit. I know you can do this, so when the wind gets too cold or your feet and fingers get too numb, keep telling yourself: "I'm almost there, I'm almost there...' and before you know you it, you will be there! So Stay focused, keep warm and above all be safe!
